Jessica Gunnels is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Raised in Fort Worth, she moved to Austin in 2005 to attend the University of Texas, where she graduated with a B.A. in Government and English. After college, she returned to Fort Worth, where she graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar in April 2015. Her work history includes litigation experience as a family law attorney with Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas and as a solo practitioner. Currently, Jessica focuses her practice on helping couples and individuals plan for the future by preparing a comprehensive estate plan that will provide for loved ones upon their death. Additionally, she advises and represents clients in probate matters and heirship proceedings.
Jessica believes all residents of Texas can benefit from an effective estate plan, regardless of the size of their estate. Her aim is to make estate planning services accessible to every Texan at an affordable rate. To this end, nearly all meetings and consultations are conducted as a virtual “house call” (via Zoom or phone) so that business may be conducted from the convenience of the client’s own home or office, regardless of location in the state.
When not working, Jessica enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling anywhere she can experience a different culture and cuisine. She lives in Fort Worth’s Near Southside with her husband, their son, and their cat, Keats.
